On July 11th, 2008 Thirteen Stripes & Fifty Stars is born.  Welcome to all who read this blog and let me give you a glimpse as to what this blog will cover.  There are many issues within our country that both the right and the left frequently argue over and debate about.  Some of the issues are real, others are fabricated, and some are completely conjured in the minds of politicians.  There are also comments from both sides, mostly from the far left, that cannot go ignored. This blog will seek to address such issues, and a few others, in an attempt restore truth and accuracy to political fallacies.

This blog is not trying to report or comment on every issue.  This blog is also not going to say it is 100% correct in everything that appears.  We do pledge to comment accurately and if a mistake is made, it will be corrected.  If you wish to discuss an issue, please send along a comment.  This blog is just as much of mine as it is of yours.  Finally, the title of this blog is Thirteen Stripes & Fifty Stars.  It is not 13 Stripes and 50 Stars or another variation.  I know typing numbers can be difficult, but with spell-check we can all make it through together.  My views, hopes, passions and dreams are embedded within this country and I bleed red, white, and blue in the form of Thirteen Stripes & Fifty Stars~
